The Campbell Collegiate Tartans, from Regina, have come out victorious in this year’s Pre-L.I.T and will be battling it out for first place at the 61st annual L.I.T. The Tartans’ 9-1 win/loss record this year puts them in first place in the league and an impressive contender for the tournament. A large factor contributing to the success of the Tartans is their philosophy on leadership: You must do whatever is necessary to benefit everyone on the team and help each other to accomplish their individual goals along with the team’s goals. The main goal of head coach Cory Britton is not to win, but rather to improve the potential of each player. It is clear, however, that the Tartans have no trouble winning, and we wish them the best of luck at this year’s L.I.T!
